Five Days per week:
* Read a fiction or nonfiction book, poetry, an article, or text of your choice: Read to inform yourself, relax and enjoy a story, learn how to do something, or to understand a new point of view. Reading of very short texts such as text messages, captions, or short posts on social media does not "count" for this assignment. Be prepared, at random and unexpected times, to be able to talk or write about something you recently read. I do not require reading logs, but if that works to keep you motivated, please keep a log and I am happy to check it daily.

Science (Mrs. Driscoll): PLEASE VISIT THE SCIENCE BLOG TO VIEW THE DAY'S AGENDA, ESPECIALLY IF YOU WERE ABSENT. http://cdriscollscience.blogspot.com/

    FACS:(Mrs. Mayer):
    • As an extension to the Pumpkin Cookie Demonstration Lesson, I am asking that you select a recipe for cookies or bars and prepare them at home. Please bring the batch to FACS class along with the recipe so that we may sample.

I am not requiring that you do this assignment but hope that you will. I will add 5 extra points to your Chef’s Badge License Assessment that we will be taking in a few weeks. Parents may assist but you must bake along with them.

You may prepare these baked goods for any class on the day it meets  through October 29th! Happy Baking :)
